[Okay, scratch that. Starting over.]

おまえー

[Nope, not working. Okay, that letter's going away for later.]

服部.
おまえ、何しってる。遅いじゃね、お・そ・い。大阪でなんてのんびり過ごして、おれ working my fingers to the bone. 何のせいか? バンパイヤの連続殺人事件ばかりじゃね。おなかが立つようにおこってるん。おれの推理何のためにこんなような場所きたん?It makes me sick.

おそいげ!おまえに待たないだもん。

[... you know, Nakama's right. Writing letters to people who will never get this feels surprisingly good. Conan's humming as he tucks the letter away in his desk for reasons that have nothing at all to do with any godly activity. Now, time to see if John made tea.]

T-translation attempt?

Hattori.
You, you know what? You're late, l-a-t-e. I bet you're probably relaxing in Osaka while I'm working my fingers to the bone. What's your excuse? There was just a vampire serial murder case. I'm always finding myself nauseous and angry. What good is my reasoning in a place like this? It makes me sick.

Late! Just for that, I'm not waiting for you.

Ha, I thought it might be something like that but I couldn't make heads or tails of it with what the dictionary was giving me.

Wonder how that turn of phrase came about.
